Maenam Beach

Maenam Beach is the beach for those who want to be alone and really experience the nature on the island. Here you can easily relax and you will not feel the smell of other visitors bath oil, but rather by the sea and clean air. There are some nice bars and restaurants and also a good range of hotels and bungalows in the area.

The palm trees found along some parts of Maenam Beach provides comfortable shade and backpackers love the beach where you practically can sleep in peace and quiet under a palm tree or rent a cheaper bungalow with a ceiling fan that the only cooling method. Anyone who is not interested in a lot of beach vendors should choose this beach. Here you really have a sense of how it originally looked on Samui so be sure to at least visit Maenam if you choose to live in another town.
