Thai Garden tucked away on a side street off Chaweng’s main strip, behind “The Islanders restaurant” is Thai Garden located, a restaurant full of island charm and yummy food. This cute bamboo salas setting is not only a great place to sample traditional Thai dishes but they specialize in authentic Isan food from northeastern Thailand it is also very good value for money.

Expect your meal to come out fast and fresh, with the service friendly and the food delicious. Try out the traditional Larb, or stick with Thai BBQ, noodles, or the mango and green papaya salad. When you order you can tailor the spiciness to your own tastes - just remember to tell your server if you like it hot!

There is something for everyone including the kids. They provide a special menu of more western style food for the kids and if they get bored there is a mini golf at the back.

Don’t be fooled by the relaxed atmosphere, as the staff are attentive and food is highly rated. The authentic papaya salad seems to be one of the ‘must try’ dishes and compared to the prices of the main street it is quite incredible what value they are, and portion sizes won’t disappoint.
