Attractions Koh Samui
Koh Samui is a large, developed island in southern Thailand. Once quiet and isolated, this island is now a tourist haven. There is plenty of outdoor fun to be had in and around Koh Samui’s beaches, which are its main attraction. But if you want a change of scene, you do have some other options. Golf enthusiasts will be glad to note that not far from the Koh Samui airport is the Santiburi Golf course. Those who prefer natural landscapes can visit Koh Samui’s waterfalls. The most notable waterfall is Na Muang. Another waterfall, Namtok Hin Lat, has the advantage of being easily accessible by car. Namtok Hin Lat is actually a series of mini-waterfalls. Most of the waterfall’s theirs have large swimming areas.
Experience the West in the East
By virtue of being such a popular tourist destination, Koh Samui provides many services that are familiar and expected by the Western crowd. In addition to its airport, which makes getting there easy; it also has an excellent hospital, which makes staying there safe. Koh Samui, particularly the area of Bophut Beach, particularly excels in the area of dental care. Those considering getting their pearly whites polished, cleaned, whitened, or otherwise attended to might want to consider heading over to the island, where they will find top-notch care at much lower prices. Once your teeth are nice and clean, you can head over to one of the internet cafes to check your e-mail, visit a tailor to fix your clothing, or make good use of your cleaned “chompers” in one of the many restaurants.
